Attorney Jonathan Sauer, the principal of Sauer & Sauer, specializes in construction law, focusing his practice particularly on contract disputes and collections originating from construction projects, mechanic’s liens, payment and performance bond claims and bid protests. Mr. Sauer has represented numerous general contractors, subcontractors and material suppliers, as well as surety companies and public and private owners of construction projects. He has been practicing law since 1976 and has had his own firm since 1992. His wife, Sally Sauer, joined the firm as an attorney in 2004.
The family law firm of Sauer & Sauer prides itself on being different from many other bigger and overhead-burdened construction law firms in the greater Boston, Massachusetts area. While our experience since 1976 enables us to gain the best financial result for our contractor clients, our size, our limited overhead and our philosophy enable us to value each client’s individual short and long-term business needs. We believe it is our mission to be peacemakers when at all possible, resolving disputes without protracted and expensive litigation, while preserving beneficial working relationships with other contractors and owners.
